My project was "a mobile based security patrol monitoring system" from which I derived desire to go into IP Camera, Networking & smart house and security systems. Engineers, design how work can be done and design is the backbone or any Engineering quality control while Technicians will implement engineer's design under the supervision of Engineer.

Technicians are always so bitter.

So they want engineers to do everything from innovation to design to implemention. They want them to start welding and sawing?

What then will be the purpose of a technician? Isn't that why they went to technical school? Because they don't do the heavier work of designing systems?

It's like artisans/Masons being bitter that technicians are sitting above them. Useless bitterness. Every finger has its purpose, but none can be the thumb(engineer).

Must there be an invention? You celebrate doctors, but when last did a Nigerian doctor invent a human body or anything else for that matter?

If you think they didn't invent anything, go to college, read engineering, work your way up to becoming a registered engineer and fellow, then come back and show us what you would've invented.

How many engineers worldwide do the above annually? You people have deep misconceptions you do not care to educate yourselves on.

How many doctors do the above? How many microbiologists? Chemistry graduates? History graduates? International relations and policy? Statisticians?

Right. They don't. You're just expressing misconceptions.
