Who Recalls When The North Used To Be Peaceful? by FactBoyz: 5:18pm On Nov 21, 2020
Early 2000s, I always dreamt of visiting the North and if possible living there. The dressing was my catch, as I loved their dressing style. Then, the south was hot with kidnappings, rituals, and militants activities.

Now its the reverse, I am even scared of going to some states in the North Central. What changed?

Yep before developers shipped drugs and guns to some criminal elements in the north

The states you listed are middle-belt states referred to as "North Central" except kebbi. When people say north, they are not referring to these states

Jigawa, Gombe, Sokoto, Bauchi, Kano are also far more peaceful than SE states.

the only states they seem to be having problem are, Borno, Kaduna, Katsina.

when you see threads like this, be rest assured that the poster is from SE, they always think they're better and in position to talk bad things about other region.

every region has one or two security challenges, let's all face our region.

We have to avoid the "truth" of in the good old days, in the days of our fathers...these are just general claims made that fail the test of research. Let's put your claims to research, and see if it's true. Human brains easily forget. The North has experienced riots upon riots that has claimed lives...crises like other places. So, it's not that peaceful as you thought.

Anybody who is free can help us list Northern events from the 50s that shows it has not been like the Op has portrayed.

Another lie that should be analyzed is the lie of Nigeria shall be great again. That's a shameful statement for a country that went into war just 6 years after independence. It was never great. It was just a lie sold to some generations to keep the status quo and not challenge the union.
