Truth is that we have been doing ok for our size.

Could we have done more. Yes. But we are not doing badly. Just being able to mentain peace is a stable form of advancement.

Not many nation's have this much diversities and terrorism challenges we have going.

We just saw the great American, how deeply divided they are irrespective of what their media display..we just saw how racist their own police can be, how flawed their electoral system is. How weak there health system can be. How unstable their politics can be. We all saw it. But we also saw how resilient they can be and how forward thinking they are.

We are not going to get everything right. But let's learn to celebrate our positives. Celebrate leaders when they do well and condenm them when they do poor. Talk is cheap and it's easy to criticize.

No one is going to defend your country for you. It's up to us to take a stand.

In my view, The youth have no business critizing their fathers without first postrating.

They may be bad, but if we are honest with ourselves we have shown potential that we can be worst. Honor your father's.

Criticize them only after you have greeted them. either way we look at it Life is hard.not Nigeria.

Kudos to the Government of Nigeria and our great people for striving harder even in the face of adversity.

A good news for patriotic Nigerian citizens is a bad news for enemies of this country.
The same government that refused to fix electricity and bad road? The same government that goes to hospital in UK?I love Nigeria with all my heart and news like this gives me joy..But pls stop praising our useless leaders.

How can a receding Economy be said to be growing ? how can something that is shrinking still be growing ? What a useless envoy
You could have understood this well if you read international news on economy. Nigeria still the biggest economy in Africa and also the fastest growing one under Buhari. If Nigeria can endure the hardships and focus like China did. We are just almost there. Bigger country like Brazil, Italy France are already in recession because of covid 19/ OIL price effect.

#. Since the civil war, we not had another strive over fourty yrs despite our diversities. Don't take it for granted.

#2. We've had democracy going now for the past two decades. At one point no one thought we could sustainable n democracy of two terms without the military intervening. it was not your protest that brought it. It just came through the same military that we call vile. That means their are good thinking people in there thinking on our behalf. Who want the system to work right as much as we do.

#3. We are the fastest growing economy in Africa still. Now am not comparing us to Europe or America. That's outside our range and won't be a honest neither a fair comparison. Compared to other Africans. We are either first or second..that's not a bad position to be.

And did I mention how decent our health institutions faired handling both the Ebola and corona virus. It praise worthy.
.that's why I said talk is cheap. Honor people when they do well. It's takes a lot of complex planning to make this things work.

This generation of youth have to pay homage to the ones struggling to keep it together and help honestly.

This is just consolation. Over 60% of population live in abject poverty... for 60 years post independence the country is doing badly.... misery loves company.... just because you saw a few glitches in the US system which is a federation of 52 countries you want to quickly latch onto that for company. A better comparison would be Nigeria and the US State of Texas, State of California, UK or Sweden.

Stop playing victim..... "They should stop experimenting with our lives" - that's playing victim.... stop blaming others for your woes....

Business is not free..... if Nigeria's resources has no buyer then the resources are useless.... UK is in Nigeria to buy resources at the best prices for their interests..... Nigeria should sell resources to the highest bidder.....

Nobody is playing victim here and I'm not giving excuses! I'm just telling it as it's. This is evil. You're describing it as normal business practices. What's is normal about using your underhand links to prop-up rulers in your former colonies, then use their offices to impose business laws that favour your businesses at the expense of those countries? British oil companies activities in the Nigerian oil sector are basically not monitored because of the corrupt administrative set up in this country that the British helped to set up and defend vigorously at every turn. They get involved in our elections in very humiliating ways. Cameron almost holding a gun to Jonathan's head to hand over!

Now we're left with this eternaly blundering president and all they do, is to sit back in their country to laugh at us. They're utilizing their political tentacles in this country since the colonial days to wreck havoc! If our relationship with them can't be straightened up in a way that each other's interests are duly respected, they should be told to stay clear. The country has paid enough deus to Britain for all her "civil war help". It's now time to use Nigerias resources to help Nigerians. It's starting to look like there's nothing profoundly beneficial in our so-called "cordial relationship" with the British. Heads or tails, we are loosing..

Imagine a country that is fast growing is still thinking of borrowing more money that will be looted by the same people that borrowed it.
