Can we see the picture of your Dad? We just want to check something.

He doesn't know his dad. His mother bought him from a baby factory at Onitsha.

Yoruba over accommodation of foreigners on their soil has always been the origin of our undoing

Only in yoruba land is a foreigner allowed to run for political office and win as I have never seen any other tribe as magnanimous to such a pedigree in the entire Nigeria history

Imagine an unrest on yoruba land where majority of the actors and participants are non yoruba, a gesture which can never be reciprocated by any tribe by allowing yoruba uncontained access on their soil

There should be a limit accommodating foreigners as hardly would a Yoruba forment trouble on other tribes soil as much as other tribes does on yoruba land

Yoruba must wake up, as the farmland can not belong to both the father and son without boundary. When slaves are given unfettered access similar to a true born, the slave would soon stand in attempt to tell story of the clan

Thanks.

The most annoying part of the whole scenario is that the foreigners do not consider the Yoruba as liberal and hospitable. They actually think we are COWARDS. They have a morbid fear of the northerners and those of them living in the north always thread with caution.

Currently, the Hisbah is destroying their alcohol business because of Sharia and none of them dares protest.

Yoruba youths should have a more pragmatic approach to the issues of these economic refugees and apply some heat on them. There should indeed be a distinction between hosts and visitors. Anything short of this will spell a doom for the unborn generation of the he Yoruba. We should not wait till then to start applying heat on them.

We will enjoy it forever. Nothing will happen.
I am proud of igbos in Lagos. Yorubas have paid the price for our continued stay in SW during the Biafran war. They fought tooth and nail for our stay. We appreciate.
The only thing we can do to make sure their efforts are not in vain is to perpetuate their dreams by increasing our numbers

lol, you are a funny guy!! I tend to love how you string your thoughts to words, but remember, a masquerade festival is a temporary venture...

I’m always uncomfortable when traditional rulers visit politicians, it should be the other way round. Appears kinda degrading to me.

Tinubu is a Yoruba political leader. Those who know his political sagacity like Olubadan, will never underrate him. God bless Olubadan.

You got it wrong! Yoruba obas unlike others, are free to honour their eminent sons and daughters with their visits, and even their presence in occasions. So learn and take caution!

take caution from who?

Is Tinubu the only son in Yoruba kingdom?

And what's the relationship between Olu Ibadan and Tinubu of Lagos that should warrant special visit?

Kudos to the Yoruba people for preserving their culture , heritage and identity.

The Yoruba people are really a special tribe in Africa. People from other places envy them because those people fail to understand history. A little sojourn in the realm of history reveals that democracy was not alien to the Yorubas. The old Oyo empire had checks and balances which included an impeachment procedure of the Alaafin of Oyo . The legislature was not a rubber one like we have always had in modern Nigeria. A parrot head in a calabash was enough to send a dictatorial Alaafin on a suicide mission.

It was with this commendable democratic principle of inclusion and liberalism that Asiwaju , the Jagaban of Planet Earth, built the city housing the most billionaires in Sub-saharan Africa . A city open to visitors than nowhere else in Nigeria even though these visitors do not wish the Yoruba people well. If you doubt my assertion check the names of the "purported" Lekki massacre victims and you will find more visitors than natives.

Victims of the alleged Shite massacre bore names rampant in Northern Nigeria, Victims of Awkuzu SARS genocide bore names rampant in South Eastern Nigeria. Even if you argue that it is a Nigerian thing or not a modern 2020 thing, I'll remind you of the Iranian missile air defence crises in January ,2020, which happened in Iranian airspace and not even on ground and it had 95% Iranian casualties.
That there are less Yoruba victims in an alleged military activity that happened in their soil (even in the hearsay CNN report) is the eighth wonder of the world.

OLUBADAN is the only OBA to be respected in Yorubaland, others are just rubbish.

REASON: the seat is by-election with the inner circle (ogboni) and not by inheritance.

Igwe Orizu of Nnewi
Obi of Onitsha
Eze Nri

These are real McCoy other... I can stay about them ..... You darenit see these aforementioned kings wakaabout... Just like Oba of Benin
