The most annoying part of the whole scenario is that the foreigners do not consider the Yoruba as liberal and hospitable. They actually think we are COWARDS. They have a morbid fear of the northerners and those of them living in the north always thread with caution.

Yoruba youths should have a more pragmatic approach to the issues of these economic refugees and apply some heat on them. There should indeed be a distinction between hosts and visitors. The Yoruba people are really a special tribe in Africa. People from other places envy them because those people fail to understand history. A little sojourn in the realm of history reveals that democracy was not alien to the Yorubas. The old Oyo empire had checks and balances which included an impeachment procedure of the Alaafin of Oyo . The legislature was not a rubber one like we have always had in modern Nigeria.
