2. The presumed job security,
3. The pay.

The university has two campuses; one at Gwagwalada and the other, the main campus at Airport road, Abuja.

Compared with the likes of big names universities, UNIABUJA does not fall too short. Its location means it receives a sizable portion of attention from Nigeria's education governing bodies.

2. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University

Named after Nigeria's first prime minister, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, this university is unpopular among southern Nigerians. Few southerners have visited the north and an even smaller number has ever visited Bauchi State. Because of this, the University escapes the attention of the media and is rarely mentioned.

ATBU, as the university is fondly called offers Medicine and Surgery. Its JAMB cut off mark is also relatively low. ATBU's lack of popularity makes it an easy option for anyone who intends to study Medicine and Surgery.
