In 1979, after the British sold oil to apartheid South Africa, even after warning from Nigerian government, Nigeria Sanctions britain by nationalizing its main oil company British Petroleum in Nigeria, this led to a collaspe of the British economy.

We should also not forget that Nigeria sanctioned the British Airlines for breaking covid 19 rules.

For those calling on trade sanction, visa ban on Nigerian officials over a so called massacre that didn't take place.

The sittings that happened yesterday was no more than a kangaroo sitting which can never have any effect on Nigeria's trade.

Those who sits there knows International relations and know that any rash and emotional action on Nigeria will lead to counter actions from Nigeria.

This parliamentary hearing is dead on arrival.
