Should Abaribe Be Jailed Like Ndume? by OfficialAwol(m): 2:53pm On Nov 24, 2020
After a Federal High Court judge ordered the remand of Sen. Ali Ndume for failing to produce Abdulrasheed Maina who he stood surety for, the Northern Youth Forum demanded that same treatment be meted out on Sen. Abaribe who stood surety for Nnamdi who also has 'jumped' bail.

But examining the facts of the case by considering the fact that the Nigerian state sent its agents (army) to invade the home of Nnamdi Kanu, shot and scattered his home to the extent that many of us thought he was dead, do you think Abaribe should get same treatment as Ndume?

why should he be jailed? Nigerian government was the cause of their problem in the case of Nnamdi Kanu, why send military against someone who's case is still in the court, it's not as if he ran away then or refused court appearance until the ugly incident happened, this is totally different from mainas case.

Abaribes case is different from that of Ndume. What Abaribe signed was N100M bond for Nnamdi Kanu. When Nnamdi Kanu could no longer attend court due to the military invasion of his home, the court revoked the bail and asked Abaribe to pay N100M. Abaribe then appealed the decision at the Appeal Court stating that the Military invasion of Kanu home made it impossible for him to produce Kanu in court. The case is still on

What Abaribe signed and what Ndume signed are most probably different. Should the worst come to the worst, Abaribe only needs to pay N100M to remain a free man

If Federal High Court has ordered Ali Ndume to be remanded in prison custody over failure to produce the person he stood as sureties for, why is Eyianya Abaribe still walking free over his failure to produce Nnamdi Kanu? We can't have two sets of laws for different people in Nigeria

Kanu was asked to bring three sureties that will sign a bond of N100M each. The total bond is N300M but Abaribes share of the bond is N100M

All Abaribe needs to do is pay his N100M and the case is over for him. But he refused to pay and went court. If the appeal court rules against him, many Igbos such as my self will contribute the money for him and the other sureties to pay that same day or next

don't come online and lie to people, ABARIBE did not forfeit any money. he only argue NNAMDI KANU is with the army at that time. since it clear he is not with the army he should kindly bring him to court or he should be put in prison. this is simply court proceedings

Why send the army to invade his home?

What if the army killed Kanu, would ask Abaribe to produce a dead man?

what did he signed? your stupid federal government is the cause of their problems, they don't follow the rule of law, they want to take the law into their hands, if you are in Nnamdi kanus shoes, you will flee for your life too, I am one of those who don't like the way he talk most times though he makes sense some times, but how can you send soldiers to a person who's case is still pending in the court, on who's command did that happened? the federal government fail for his cheap tricks and paid dearly for it.

Don't mind the online urchin.

The right to self defense is a natural law higher than any national law.

The army came to kill Nnamdi Kanu and they expected him to stand and get killed?

The spirit of hate in you is not making you to think well and if u continue this way u wouldn't go far in life.

The Questions u should ask yourself are:

1. Has MNK ever default is appearances in any of the days he has Court case before the escaped?

2. Why send the Military to kill him?

3. If you're in MNK shoe would you have stayed knowing fully well that the Government wants to kill you?

I know the evil and hate in your heart wouldn't make u to answer these questions correct.
