Arrewa: Well done!! However, by the time Africa arrives, others would have moved on. We are celebrating what should have been in 1990 in 2020 [thanks to corrupt and mediocre leadership]! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Agbegbaorogboye: How comes Anambra has Innoson, yet majority of the vehicles there are imported ones. Nigeria has crude oil, why do we import petrol. 2 Likes |

Niceman12:Majority of our imported vehicles are used cars called tokunboh not new. Innoson manufactures new ones which are out of the reach of the average Nigerian. Nigeria has crude and imports petrol due to corruption and sabotage The case of Keke Napep is totally different to these two. Those imported ones are also new so I expect the price of these assembled ones to be cheaper since it is actually cheaper to bring in CKDs. So, except for maybe capacity to produce at a high number, the question I asked is still relevant. |

[quote author=Arrewa post=96549917]Kano my state!! I am proud of this state!! Kano is indeed a very beautiful city with the potential of becoming a major industrial hub in Africa. But my only fear is that the activities of the over zealous hisba folks, fueled by the multitude of religious fanatics in the city, that potential may take a longer to materialize. Even well known Islamic nation's like UAE and Quatar are relaxing on some of these outdated religious norms. I read somewhere some time ago that even Saudis are planning a tourist city in their country were non Muslims can come and be free to party, even drinking of alcoholic beverages would be allowed in the city. I can't wait for that to happen, I sure will be on my way to visit the beautiful city. Salam. 2 Likes |
