Yes, the demolishing of the Shanties are good but, the government should please arranged some group of Police that will not bias at any point to be in-charge of this area, because this is people will come back in due cost, but if there is police parading this area, the possibility of coming back will be very narrow.

Being a residence of this area and having witnessed first hand how these miscreants have been terrorising the neighborhood, I would say it's been long overdue and I'm glad it's happening now.

Creating Opportunity:

An enterprising person is one who comes across a pile of scrap metal and sees the making of a wonderful sculpture. An enterprising person is one who drives through an old decrepit part of town and sees a new housing development.

An enterprising person is one who sees opportunity in all areas of life. To be enterprising is to keep your eyes open and your mind active. It's to be skilled enough, confident enough, creative enough and disciplined enough to seize opportunities that present themselves... regardless of the economy.

A person with an enterprising attitude says, "Find out what you can before action is taken." Do your homework. Do the research. Be prepared. Be resourceful. Do all you can in preparation of what's to come.

Opportunities abound everywhere. Look carefully and you'll be amazed by the awesome wealth creation Opportunities all around you. It's all about insight. It's all about looking where others are too scared to look.

Also majority of this Northerners are not from this Country, they are from Neighbouring country like Niger, Mali etc because they do not understand English nor common general broken-English that most of us speak, and once they see the darkness, they switch to operation and this have put fear of unknown into heart of this residence in that area, heaven the churches in that areas can not hold vigil, nor any program beyond 7.00pm because of this people, so demolishing of their Shanties is not enough, but security of the people around this area.

The ways the northerners are invading Lagos is mind boggling. You will see thousands of them following cow trucks to and fro. I wish we have true visionaries who can transform the vacant plots in southern Nigeria to a modernized agricultural hub that will kill these over dependence on Northerns meat and food. So long we don’t look into this direction more trucks will keep bringing the cows and possibly many Bokoharam terrorists into Lagos

Lol, they are preparing the ground for what is to come. They already have a Fulani ruler in Lagos and are now growing their infantry numbers. Once it reaches a critical mass, then it will be deja Vu again. Jos is a good recent example. You guys should continue being obsessed with the Igbos who are only going about their business while you ignore the real threat staring at you.

Good job.
Next stop should be shanties around Jakande Lekki , Ilaje in Ajah. Railways line at Oyingbo, Agege and Mushin.
They’re breeding grounds for hoodlums and miscreants.

The funny thing is that you demolish one today, another two springs up the next day grin grin It's a vicious circle and with the worsening insecurity in the North, you should expect more slums in Lagos. That's the sad reality undecided
