The most important thing is that human lives were lost unjustly. It doesn’t matter whether it was only one life or 1 million lives.

They all love to castigate Nigeria.

Sadly, there are many willful participants in Nigeria.

We are our own worst enemies.

Look, till today I do not believe the Nigerian army killed anybody in Lekki.

But many Nigerians believed CNN and claimed the army was lying.

The Nigerian govt demanded that CNN stick to basic journalist standards and produce evidence of their claims.

Now they are all retracting and apologising, from UN to CNN.

We also need Amnesty International to make their own retraction.

They were among the loudest accusers, with zero evidence.

But CNN, DJ Switch, Aisha Yesufu, and all these funny characters seem to have been deployed to instigate Nigerians against constituted order.

Are they trying to destablize the country?

They won't succeed.

Instead of Nigerians to hold their government responsible for poor security system that has caused the lost of over 20,000 lives since the inception of terrorism in Nigeria, they are busy blaming UN who made a mistake and was even humble enough to retract their statement.

Unfortunately most of these foreign organisations have become reckless and more reliant on local sources/correspondents for their information; who as it can be seen are often not as professional or out rightly compromised.

Majority of Nigerian media belong to the opposition and they along with other interest groups are hell bent on discrediting the president and his administration - even at the expense of de-marketing the country; through deliberate distortion or exaggeration of the realities on the ground, a.k.a. negative propaganda.

They along with sponsored hostile social media handles had been largely responsible for misleading some of these foreign organisations who are seemingly easily fooled - including the so called reputable ones like CNN.

What does your respect worth?

Even if 20 people were killed, what's the difference?
No one should be killed in the first place.
No one will be talking about the killings anymore, it's going to be about UNN.

Foolish people

Who your respect epp? Abeg cover mouth.
The fact remains that the death toll remains unverified as no one knows the actual figure.
Na today your government begin manipulate figures? 50 soldiers will die and buratai will tell the media its just 2.

If the Nigerian Govt tells you something is A, best believe it's A.B

At least the UN owned up to their error and tried to make it right - this shows their sincerity. Can you say same for your government?

Which one is better? 110 or 43? You think we're in a math class? Nigerian government didn't lose your respect by not protecting the people, its the UN that lost your respect for overblowing the death count and then correcting themselves?

UN asked army how many people were killed. They replied we are not in the position to say that to you. They called authorities they say the same thing. They call government, they replied we will get back to you. They never did. They call back they refuse to pick call. Meanwhile they asked locals, news agencies, gossips, Human rights activists, media organizations and they all said 110 died by providing photos, incredible details and added investigate journalism on their part. Won't they report that. Same steps were applied investigating Lekki massacre and CNN did a wonderful job.

Tire for what?? Whether it's 110 or 43,the fact is that people were killed; Rather than debate the number of casaulties the stupid GCfR should either come up with a counter offensive measure or employ service men who know how to do so... The fact remains that the president has failed and he is still failing, only God will save us from his worst.
