Lawmakers at the Kogi State House of Assembly today endorsed the state governor, Yahaya Bello, for 2023 presidency.

The unanimous endorsement took place at the premises of the state lawmaking arm of government today in Lokoja.

They cited good governance among others as reasons for their decision.

“We, the Right Honourable Speaker and Honourable Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly upon due deliberation of proper motion therefore, do hereby unanimously make and pass a Vote of Confidence on His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State,” the resolution of the assembly read.
