I see that the BMC crew many of whom were crying foul against Jonathan have decided in thier evil meetings to be throwing around the words "hate" and then using the slogan "be patriotic" to MASK the tragedy that is the Pa Bubu's administration.

I see that they have decided to use emotional blavkmail on Nigerians to cover up for the gross INEPTITUDE of that sham of a government.

Hahahaha. Nice one but that strategy no go work.

Nigeria is just a space and NIGERIANS are the real people. You hate Nigerians that's why you have chosen to misrepresent and misinterpret Nigerians because of the SELFISH GAINS you are getting from this govt.

Madam, you know that what we hate is buying fuel double the price we did before Bubu came in.

What we hate is paying THRICE the Nepa tarrifs we paid before Bubu came in.

What we hate is buying a bag of rice 5TIMES the price we bought it before Bubu came in.

What we hate is buying dollars 3 TIMES the amount we did 5years ago before this administration.

What we hate is the massive insecurities, the intense suffering, the mismanagement, the corruption, the bullying oppression and the prosecution of those who try to soro soke for NIGERIANS and because of their love for their fellow NIGERIANS.

We are hungry and do not care about Buhari as an individual. But as our president who is mismanaging the country and causing us to suffer, we say bleep you sir!

It is rather infantile and spurious to say that people hate the President. All we ask of him is to do the job he was elected to do. How does that translate to hatred?

Are you mad or what? Why calling his parent in this matter? Its a sign you have none.

He is airing his view and you are insulting his parent. Is buhari your father or family?

Just get lost ok. Nonsense.

Nonsense talk. Just typing for the sake of it. The tweets from these sycophants do not really have much sense in it or behind it. The same way she tweeted controversial pictures of scraggly, suffering kids to push home her arguement for people to wear face masks.

Is General Mohammadu Buhari himself patriotic towards Nigeria? Are his cabinet members patriotic? The legislators, politicians, are they all patriotic? Are you yourself Lauretta a patriotic Nigerian?

Cos of you all are, then your interest will be more about making the country succeeding by making the people that make up the country succeeding.

But what you have all been doing is to make poverty the lot of the majority whilst you corner for yourselves the largest share of the wealth. The 10% that loots the 90% of the wealth of the nation. To you that is being patriotic, right?

Lauretta needs to look in the mirror first and ask who she sees, "have you been a patriotic Nigerian?"

Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to President Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has admonished Nigerians to show patriotism to the Country and her institutions despite their disposition towards her Principal, Muhammadu Buhari.

Whilst she concedes that some might hate the President or legislators, she urged Nigerians to refrain from extending such "hate" to the Nation and her institutions.

Recently, Onochie's nomination as a National Commissioner representing South-South at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was greeted with a sense of nationwide outrage by many who see it as a provocative assault on the 1999 Constitution (as amended).

if the country was a person, then hating on he/she might be tagged unjustifiable.....
nigeria is a country with so many perversed and disgusting characteristics, only a true PATRIOT would be vehemently criticizing it,that criticism is what our deluded goverment sees as "hate",whatever it be,it is justifiable.

Abeg go siddon. Many Nigerians smear the country unnecessarily by instinct without even thinking.

A common smear is that ''we don't manufacture common toothpicks''.

I mean, this is a statement that shows gross ignorance and foolishness, because Nigeria has thousands of factories across the country, manufacturing everything from 'toothpicks' to chemicals to pharmaceuticals to steel products, to computer tablets, to SUVs, to jet fighter spare parts and armoured personnel carriers!

So why would a Nigerian come out and say ''we don't manufacture common toothpicks''?

We underrate and underestimate our own selves before the world when we do that on social media, and it needs to stop.

He's really trying his best. Bandits are working hard to make northern Nigeria compete with the Asian Tigers when it comes to development. Boko Haram are working tirelessly to improve the GDP in the North-East. One shouldn't forget kidnappers who have made Nigerian roads safer and smoother for easy transportation of goods and services across the nation. The importance of this to economic growth cannot be overemphasized.

Patriotism is when you speak against evil.
Patriotism is not when you support a government that has sworn to turn the life of its citizens upsidedown.
Patriotism is when you eschew bitterness, clannishness, favouritism etc
Patriotism is when you resign, knowing you are clueless on the way forward.
That's patriotism!
the incompetence of this administration has reached the high heavens.

no president in America's 250yrs plus history has behaved and said the things he has. Except you are saying that his controversial statements has somehow managed to increase the image and respect the world has for America's democracy. Even communist Russia and Socialist China are ridiculing the elections in their various countries. I have read enough articles to have an informed opinion about this.

Buhari is reaping what he sowed! He came into power with heart of vengeance and not of peace. If he had sowed peace and unity, Nigeria would have reaped progress and love, bountifully. We would have loved him, follow him and do patriotic zeals. But he came in with archaic uthman Dan fodio agenda, dividing the country and showing disdain for our collective cause, he ends up creating chaos and hatred. He should simply resign and hand over to his VP to see if we can move forward.

We underrate and underestimate our own selves before the world when we do that on social media, and it needs to stop.

you see why i say you are not true to reality,is that manufacture?we are talking about technological innovations and growth...
nigeria imports machines that produces material, you claim to make shoes but the machines and materials are all imported, dangote makes cement but all his equipments hardware are imported, they get the limestones and the imported machines do the rest, our companies depend on imported machines,no local mining or crafting industries, have you ever heard of nigerian technology,we need to start developing our own technology, don't say "at least we are doing something" when we re actually very slow and backward..
indian, malaysia iran etc started with sole dependance on imported machines, now they making and crafting many necessary ones themselves, what can we actually make or craft Ourselves without becoming customers to another nations gear......
we are living under the illusion of importation of techs and with no intent of pushing our own developments even a bit, that's why there is no innovation,we live in a nation where the government cannot provide basic amenities such as water and electricity to her people, our under ground water channels have decayed, overhead cables ugly, something that was very much functional ages ago yet we import an use iPhone 12 and semi high techs like developed nations, what greater illusion can there be..
