He may be right but for the Head of a Military organisation to come out publicly like this ahead of the President's proposed visit to the House is balsy. He has played Mr. Buhari's hand and this could spark serious trouble for this government. In normal climes he will almost certainly be removed.

The truth is Nigerian military shouldn't be the form leading the fight against insurgency but rather a tactical antiinsurgency team who will have been seriously trained in insurgency matters. Most times this team is headed by intelligence agencies. And we have DSS, NIA and DIA. The team should be drafted across board with the military following their lead to attack

Although a bigot, you make sense at times. I am surprised.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.Gen.Tukur Buratai, has hinted that insurgency and terrorism may continue in Nigeria for another 20 years.

Buratai made the remark on his verified Facebook handle few days after Boko Haram massacred rice farmers in Borno State.

Arrewa:
Buhari has failed the north!!

Buratia has failed his people of Borno state!!

But thank God that the people of Borno have woken up to the reality.

You only only protected their cities and then allow Bokoharam to have a free field in their villages just for politics.

Bokoharam is now a siphon pump to some powerful politicians and top military officers.

They don't want this Bokoharam to completely end... They are cashing out billions of dollars from insurgency both from the intentional community and the billions of naira they allocate to the fight against insurgency.

Borno state Governor has decided to stand with his people and defend their lives by fully empowering Civilian JTF... Yan Gora.

I strongly believe in them cos I personally know their capacity!!

God bless Borno youths for defending their villages!!

We are solidly behind you yan Gora!!!
Fake news just to discredit our Sai baba and the government.
Boko Haram has been technically defeated. Borneo and northern Nigeria are safe and peaceful.
Check out kano with that lovely bridge you are always showing.
Lai Mohammed twist mouth and answer Mr arrewa.

The US is dealing with terrorism because they are the real originators of terrorism. They spew thrash about any government that disagree with them or challengees them.

Nigeria on the other side as a very insensitive nation to the plights of the populace those vested with powers to lead are only interested in how big their bellies with get given the opportunity at hand while it lasts.
