1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

➖ THE DAY OF THE LORD COMES AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.
➖ SOBER AND EQUIPPED CHILDREN OF LIGHT IN THE LORD.
➖ COMFORT AND EDIFICATION FOR THE BRETHREN APPOINTED TO SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

➖THE DAY OF THE LORD COMES AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.

Concerning the times, the season, the particular day, the particular hour, the particular moment, no need for any of that because it should already be known to you that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night.
Only the Father knows(Matt 24:36), so therefore we must be ready by the grace of God, for we do not know when He comes(Matt 24:44).
When they say, “PEACE AND SAFETY!”, then sudden destruction comes as labour pains upon a pregnant woman and they shall not escape.

➖SOBER AND EQUIPPED CHILDREN OF LIGHT IN THE LORD.

God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, if we say that have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth, but if we walk in light we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin(1 John 1:5-7).
We were once darkness but we are light in the Lord, so let us walk as children of light finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. and have no fellowship with works of darkness(Ephesians 5:8-14).

There let us not sleep, let us be sober, not distracted by worries(Matt 6:24), casting all our cares to Him(1 Pet 5:7), not lead astray by the things and pleasures of this world(1 John 2:15-17). Be instead seriously watchful and prayerful(1 Peter 4:7), be sober and vigilant for your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour(1 Pet 5:.
Therefore, submit to God, resist the devil in the name of Jesus and He will flee from you(James 4:7).

Now let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope for Salvation.
Faith without works is dead(James 2:17), your confession alone does not save your soul. It is your love and faith in God, and love for your fellow mankind consciously and unconditionally that saves you.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

For we were saved in this hope for Salvation, hope that is seen is not hope, for why does one still hope for what he sees? but if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with PERSEVERANCE.
For God has not appointed us for wrath but to obtain Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Who died for us that whether those who are dead or those alive that we will be together with Him by God’s grace.
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another with these words.

➖ RECOGNIZE AND ESTEEM THOSE WHO LABOUR AND ADMONISH YOU IN CHRIST.
➖PURSUE WHAT IS GOOD BEFORE GOD IN CHRIST FOR YOURSELVES AND FOR ALL.
➖VARIOUS EXHORTATIONS FOR THE BRETHREN IN CHRIST.

I urge you to recognize those who labour among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish(rebuke/reprove/advise) you. And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. also be at peace among yourselves and with all men.

I exhort you, warn those who are unruly, that is insubordinate or idle.

See that no one repays evil. With evil to anyone, always remember to overcome evil with good(Romans 12:21), but always pursue what is good for yourselves and for all.
