What is wrong with you folks. In normal climes there is no way on earth anyone who has anything with this government will be able to win any popularity contest. The baggage will be just too heavy to carry. That is the incentive for performance while in government. But you folks are content with reinforcing failed people. When he gets there and repeats the failure then lamentation starts. You have not learnt your lessons on the present head of government and his 1983 antecedents. You are seeing another worked example and ignoring the facts that this man even as HOS will be a 'yes man' and will do nothing about the way Nigeria runs presently.

If the man is wonderfully competent then what is he doing in this government. If he considers he has a future in politics why soil your reputation. He should have quit after the first term to preserve his dignity and crack the glass ceiling above his head now.

If it becomes APC West the best bet is Mr. Tinubu. He has a track record of success at State level and looks a tad bolder and appears less of a conformist, tools required to confront the issues of Nigeria. Mr Veep is punching far, far below his weight in the scheme of things but we can understand that it is the nature of the beast. Today's politicians since 2003 are scared of having another Atiku besides them.

Sometimes I looked at their reports as being bias. As a civil servant in Nigeria, I don't need to be told to know that the present Leadership is fighting corruption. Today, people are benefiting from various Government interventions with going through anyone. That is also a fight against corruption. I pray they would stand with this position of the Vice President
