But they have jurisdictions to air an unverified reportage of the #ENDSARS lekki protest/shooting while not at the venue of the said protest and subsequent shooting/"massacre ".
Nigeria and Africa will continue to suffer until they hold these foreign media houses accountable to their reportage.
Look and what happened in Libya,Sudan and Tunisia, are these countries any better after the western world executed their ideas/agendas in them?
BBC, CNN,Aljazzera, etc based almost 70% of their daily news on wars, violence, terrorism, and other crimes supported or initiated by the western and part of the Arabian world.

That's what the panel wanted to hear from CNN not really their presence at the panel. CNN was not in Lagos and they reported the massacre as if all the documented video were captured by their reporters!

I know so many fulani janja-weeds like Arrewa won't be able to resist quoting me but it's fine, go ahead as it won't change nada.

Aside the fulanis, Igbos and Yorubas have big issues. In fact, they are majorly one of Nigeria's biggest problem.

I don't know what I'm saying grin

The international news outfit said the
the Panel lacks jurisdiction to summon its staff since they are not in Nigeria.

Lolz.....

Just as NASS has no power to invite bubu

Nigeria summon CNN , have they finish with the sittings on the same matter, is it not the same panel that madam representing the youth refused to show up last time due to the panel incompetency , is it not the same panel that couldn't come up with anything since after the #EndSars 20:11:2020 till date,
Nigerian government and drama are like lie Moha'med and lies

What has Africa's suffering got to do with what foreign media houses choose to report or not report?

What happened in Sudan, Libya and Tunisia & what have that got to do with Western media?

If they don't live in Nigeria how then can anyone rely on their version of the story as credible when they were not physically there to witness and subsequently report on what happened in Nigeria - unless of course as it is quite apparent that they were relying on second hand information, which may not necessarily survive the scrutiny of the investigative panel.

You can come to Nigeria and get selfish news but when they call you to come and defend your news then you remember the word "jurisdiction"

I want to believe you are an intelligent fellow and not just saying this for attention. Please tell me were those countries great places to live since their inception or did CNN suddenly cause the chaos going on there?

Nobody was complaining about CNN until they were exposing the excesses of the present government, now you want them to stop reporting so the government can kill in silence.

And you say you want Nigeria to be better?

If this is how you want the country to be then it will not be well for Nigeria or for you. We are as a nation on a time bomb, ready to explode, better own up to your mistakes and fix things before you get caught in the blast.

Iranu! What an impudence on the part of these yeye people? What do they take CNN for? Sanwoolu who speaks from both sides of his mouth?...or our military who killed the police team that arrested the wadume the terrorist and letting him go after cutting off his handcuffs at the barracks? Or the same military said they've killed shekau more than 4 times now and same shekau keeps mocking them on dated videos? Or does our government think cnn was Malami, the shameless Attorney-General who said those who invaded lekki and shot at those innocent, unarmed and peaceful protesters were hoodlums in military uniform, despite the gory scenes and military confession that they invaded lekki?

The greatest mistake our government made was that, they put people who are relics of a lost age like lai Muhammed in such a positions in government, someone who can't operate an ordinary laptop. The CNN, BBC and Aljazeera who covered the lekki protests from the beginning were using drones to cover the events whilst the reporters covertly stayed aside, gathering information. They're still wondering why and how they got those video proofs on lekki shooting from grin. This is why we must join hands in sacking all of them come 2023. They've overstayed their welcome already. We need to take our country back and move her forward. Enough is enough
well said comrade, well said.

No wonder Trump call CNN fake news, after giving fake news abt lekki shooting they are scared of facing panel, just sue them..
They didn't give any fake news about lekki. The result of Trump's lies was clearly seen in the recent election in which he was humiliated even in a traditionally republican state of Georgia where biden won. Lies can fly in a million years. It only takes one second for the truth to catch up with it. I watched lekki protests from the beginning on CNN. CNN was at lekki, covering the events with their drones. How much does a drone cost? Even ordinary members of endsars also used drones as seen to cover their protest. It still baffles me how people still think of the past in this country. No wonder buhari called some youths lazy. Cnn has more than enough information about lekki shooting. They covered the event live. Have you ever wondered how foreign media manage to cover some events in Nigeria's hard to reach places? I don't even watch our local TV channels anymore, except channels tv wey dey try small. If you want to see better, undiluted and accurate news about Nigeria, tune to foreign news channels.
