No such figure is given by pew research centre,which is the only demographic study centre you've mentioned. What they say is that worse case scenario,there are no significant net lose of population between the converts entering and those leaving Islam. Unlike in xtianity were you're loosing way more than you're gaining.
Anecdotal reports are different from hard facts,I could likewise provide videos of clerics making statements on Islam's growth.
Reference the reputable demographic study centre that gave the 20% youths leaving Islam figure....it's that simple

False religions have nothing benefitial to offer it's adherents so young and vibrant members will be on the lookout for profitable things to do with their lives as there seems to be no future for false religion. All the religious groups on planet Earth will experience the same thing but the one and only true religion will remain intact with youths zealously preaching and industriously teaching in all their neighbourhood.
WHY? Because their faith was built on the solid rocky foundation of Truth! Matthew 7:24-27
That's why God's word admonished the wise ones to search for God while they can still make the best use of their body, mentality and emotion {Ecclesiastes 12:1} most people grew old to regret using their youthful life to pursue what is not benefitial so at oldage they are full of regrets!
