You said there is no league going on in Nigeria and I proved to you that you are wrong.

@thenwfl has started successfully and they are playing P2 on Wednesday

Please don't confuse people here what i wrote there is the NPFL... The Nigeria professional football league (NPFL) that is what we talk about when we say Nigerian league.

But if we want to talk about the female game we specify it.

The male league NPFL have had several postponement. The women body in charge of organizing the female league had to take the bull by the horn. By starting theirs yet the are far from it

Cos salaries and other issues are still there

Nigerian football will be blackout in the year 2021...

The 2020 Olympics will hold in the year 2021 not talks to the covid 19 pandemic however Nigeria will miss out for both the male and the female events

1. Nigeria's men's team aka the dream team will not feature because imams amapakabo lead team did not qualify.

2. The female team aka super falcon's will not also feature because the team failed to qualify after playing a drew in Cote d ivore when they need a win to qualify.
https://www.pulse.ng/sports/football/super-falcons-of-nigeria-held-to-a-1-1-draw-by-cote-divoire-to-miss-out-on-2020/lym7qxx

3 the U21 that the last hope just lost out from qualifying for the U20 world cup because they couldn't even qualify for the African championship were they have the record of winning it 8 times more thañ any other African team. Yet Ladan Bosso lead team were bundled out after been edged out while hoping Ghana should win cote d ivore for them to qualify
https://www.pulse.ng/sports/football/flying-eagles-of-nigeria-knocked-out-of-u20-wafu-cup-and-fail-to-qualify-for-2021/xvcwscx

4 even the Super eagles did not win a single match throughout this 2020 calendar year. With the team looking a shadow of itself

5. At the domestic level . the Nigerian league NPFL is yet to start and will notn start this year. while all other leagues in the world have started.
No wonder our continental hopefuls out of 4 teams 2 have already been knockout leaving Enyimba and Rivers united hang in the balance.

The State of the Nation which we repeatedly emphasise to which leaders should eagle eye affects every aspect of life is at an all time low. Not surprising at all. Nigerians are at the most pessimistic state, the lowest level of patriotism and belief in the flag since the early seventies and it shows, it saps the energy of patriots and fuels divisions and individualism.

The average citizen is no longer interested in building solidarity and teamwork because of the perception of general injustice and inequality which has largely relegated the spirit of e cellence and endeavour.

This government and its activities has played a big part in that.

As a Nigerian I hope we qualify and I think we will

But we can only qualify IF we get that drew, that's how we thought we can beat Sierra Leone home a and away to get 6 point but needed up with an annoying 2 point

It is simple!!
Nothing predominantly government arranged and funded in Nigeria can work.
The Nigerian league is dominated by government owned clubs and LMC is run predominantly by club chairmen who answer to state commissioners of sports. Nothing will change until that structure changes.

The truth is that even a privately managed and funded local league of 8-10 clubs managed by enthusiasts and funded by fans' donations will produce better results than what LMC is currently doing.

Such a sad situation!!
