Lol, pls spare me aibeg! grin

These Oil marketers are very funny pipo. The three refineries have not refined a drop of oil for the past 10 years, but within 6 months of a normal year it can gulp N81.41 billion. That’s not mentioning the personal racket that comes from the crude being lifted and the products that come back into the country.

Now ask dem again after reasoning all these. grin

I don't think government will ever accept that...fixing refineries isn't the problem, they just don't want to.

Refineries are conduit pipes for some pple to siphon n embezzle year in year out. Until a serious govt takes over, nothing will be done aside turnaround maintenence

So the only solution is to give up Refineries to them, just like that?

What happens to getting land and starting a new one.

Hahahaha, your head dey there o jare. The usual 419 practice by the so-called private entrepreneurs is to have public assets handed to them for peanuts. The crooks will then use the assets as collateral for humongous bank loans. The loans disappear and the public assets remain comatose. Ha, Nigeria!

NNPC's boss, Shell won't support this fixing the refineries move. They have made trillions refining Nigerian oil offshore and then re-importing the finished products.

Hopefully Dangote Group will have the best security on the continent to protect their investment!

What happens to starting with modular refinery

Its better to sell the refinaries for ₦1, and have it work than to keep it as a liability to nigerians. A liability that is a piece of land and hunk of equipment that has consumed 81billion within 7 month and produced 0 drop of petrolium products.

"On November 23, The PUNCH exclusively reported that a total of N81.41bn was expended on the refineries between January and August this year but the facilities refined no drop of crude oil through this period."

This rubbish can't even happen in a sane society not to talk of those involved will not be having dinner in jail, but here, anything goes.... No accountability

FG knows what is happening. . They will never fix those refineries, because there a billions being allocated yearly to those leakages.

WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR
Re: Oil Marketers Tell FG To Allow Them Fix Nigeria's Refineries by GMBuhari: 1:06pm On Dec 20, 2020
No they won't , not on a large scale, you see it's like giving one bag of rice to a trader, you know how many mudu is in one bag , so the extra on one bag might be their profit , but from experience those who have been exporting our crude knows what a barrel will produce in pms , diesel e.t.c

But what baffles me is the 81.4 Billion they claimed to have spent from Jan to August and they couldn't produce one drop of petrol

that money is in someone's foreign account

period

Hi Nairalanders, we all know how hard the country is these days. As a result, we have been looking for various ways of making money both online and offline. But no one that has a sure way online is ready to help.
It was on this Nairaland when I was looking for how to make money that providence made me meet someone who introduced me to one trading platform where I registered with 1k and made over Two thousand naira on the first day.

The profit is huge and more than 100% and it is made every single night.

The person who introduced me made over Sixty thousand in three weeks.

How do we do it? There is a trading site, there is also a signal group on Telegram or WhatsApp. We receive signals from our leader on what to trade and the amount to stake, every trading session lasts for 3 minutes and trading takes place 24/7 but, we only trade for 1 straight hour in a day. That is 9 PM, but we usually get online at least 30 minutes before trading begins. The signals are too sure as we always win 80% of our trade. You are guaranteed of making profit every night and you can withdraw your money Mondays to Fridays 9AM-5PM. Even if the money means nothing to you, it can at least settle some little bills and get you out of being always broke. If you want to be making between 1000 to 3000 Naira or more every single night. If after registration you don't make any profit from the platform on your first day, I am ready to refund your 1k. Chat with me on 0.9.0.8.3.6.1.1.1.7.8 to know more on how to trade.

Churches have actually been doing more than just fixing roads in Nigeria. The government doesn't even allow them in some areas cos they want to make money from road construction budgets.

Churches have schooled, clothed and fed so many Nigerians.

If marketers fix the refineries, then they will have power over government and create a very powerful cartel. government need to have leverage.

What leverage does govt have in telecoms, education, transport and every other thing they are not budgeting for? Think we'll.
