Sequel to the new cheque standard approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria, we would no longer accept old cheques from 1 January 2021.



What has changed?

Introduction of expiring date on cheques
Inclusion of Cheque digit on the MICR code line

With less than 8 working days to the end of the year, Banks want to help increase Covid19 rates as people will flock banks to collect new ones, milky citizens who just collected cheque booklets.....
