can you explain the meaning of those combinations you listed, are you talking about taste or food combinations or what. food combination is what individuals can figure out themselves. there is no rules protecting food combination. in nigeria people still believe that when you eat garri and then mango you will have stomach combustion or ache. drinking garri alone can kill you if you are not becareful.

Lots and lots of stupid foods.

Top of my list is this stupid rice i once ate. That rice was disgusting, after eating it.. we had to drink this fxcking thing that was spose to be the 'last thing' to drink. ohh yuck... i almost threw up.. but i couldnt cos the woman was being nice to me and my dad. God.. i almost cursed her out.. actually i did curse her out. the rice was over-done... and it looked meshe meshe.... with some fxccking mushrooms, and kidney... with this really spicy sauce that's really liquid (noo... not pepper soup, or any kind of soup). Goshh... my stomach hurts.

Went to this Chinese restaurant once, didn't know what to order 'cause i felt like trying something different, so i went for what looked good on the menu. Turned out to be a huge bowl of taseless noodles soaked on water, as in the bowl as half filled with water or something liquid sha. nasty nasty nasty. Now I stick to rice when i go for Chinese.
By the way, i can't remember what it was called, and i really don't want to.

Octopus/Squid is so so good! Here in the states on a resturant menu it would be called Calamari.

The worst thing I ever ate was someone's grandma's ENTIRE Thanksgiving dinner! She had Turkey and stuffing, the turkey was dry, the stuffing had too much sage. The mashed potatoes were too lumpy. The collard greens were watery. Even the iced tea was bad!
My mom had just gotten out of the hospital, and I took her a plate from the dinner. My mom was like, "what are you trying to do to me, put me back in the hospital?!"

my aunty is a very busy woman , She has a lot of women ,girls that stay with her she is training them.They do the cooking.
But once a year my aunty cooks herself , christmas.
She cannot cook and she will heap everyones plate and smile .
Every one has to finish their food,
Her rice is the worst.
Not even a white person can cook that rice worse than her.

And i pray hard she dose not read here.

I still have not figured out exactly what the big glob of flour is about. I haven't tasted it since I was a child. Maybe I should give it another chance.

But I'm scared.

I watch people eat it and I just get bad memories.

It's the same with pig ears, tried it once as a child and I could not stomach the stuff for years.

(Now I just do not eat any pork, period. But that is another story. )

I should get the recipe for fufu and try it again. I just start hyperventilating even thinking about it.
