How will the break be? Throughout April or the weekends in April? If you are an Ikenga (a student of ABSU), be informed that school has resumed. Nothing like a break.

@ All, we shudn't misconceive the lady dat began dis thread, because i cud read som folks bashing her.by her ealier post,it was clear dat she merely asked if or not there wud b closure of skulls prior election.as regards dis,i'll say it's an abnormality to register students on campus and afterwards disenfranchise them by closing d skull; in short,if asked,i'd say it's d onset of incredibility of dis election.dis is d height of 'aroism' in which OAU's Authorities are not exempted!

Re: 2011 Election Break For Universities by emisun(m): 5:15pm On Mar 30, 2011
I have been taking exams and today i also took 1 and another 1 would be on friday. Down here in UNN, there is nothing to show that i would be observed cos we have polling stations here in the school. that would mean those who registered here are to vote here and those who didn't register here are expected either to take a 2 day trip down to their registered location or participate only in the presidential election.

Re: 2011 Election Break For Universities by Henryla: 11:27am On Mar 31, 2011
giving break for election will not help the studnts in any way, rather it will give them room 2 be involved in bad act or malpractices, so i advice they shd be involved this period just like UNN involved theirs in exams.

Re: 2011 Election Break For Universities by Gaybriel: 9:22pm On Mar 31, 2011
Election should come b4 education because its result will determine what will happen to our educational system for the next 4yrs. For those who suggested that exams or quizes should be given to students on election, what if the sch just resume? FUTA just finish 1st semester and wants to resume 2nd semester 4th April. The truth is that universities senates are not respecting national issues. For oou students, na person say make una strike. All 9ja unis just dey do gra gra yet dem no dey among the best 25 unis in africa.
