Where were the parents when this little kid was crossing the road?
where was the mother?
u know how mad some naija drivers and how they drive recklessly on even roads situated in residential areas
so sad

the boy might evade outta the house unnoticed by anyone . it happen to me once when i was very small. i wanted to cross the express on my own. i got knocked down.....i latter found myself walking alone on a open field, filled with yellow grass grows knee high.
and then i had a loud voice calling my name like 100 miles away.
and d next thing, i woked up on hospital bed right in my mother arms.
i was alive again.
damn! i cant forget that experience.
Rip to him

Over here the only time i see little kids crossing the road is when they are going to school. You will see a traffic police officer signaling cars to stop and the kids will cross over..sometimes motorist stop on their own and wave the kids to cross. Its like its only in nigeria we hear about little children crossing busy roads indiscriminately .I mean what business would a little have in cross a busy highway without the mother in company of that child. In ur case its the carelessness of whoever was in charge in taking care of u as a kid cos normally as a kid when u indoors the door would be locked but then it depends on the type of house.Growing up as child there were two of us and it was a residential environment.Anytime we are indoors the door would be shut and the upper bolt kicked home so it would be hard for any of us getting our hands on the bolt since u wont be tall enuf as a 5 yr old child to get ur hands on the door bolt at the top section of the door.our dad would purchase toys for us and we would play indoors in the holidays.Nigerian parents of today should take more care of their children.Ur child has no business crossing the road plying with speeding vehicles.Abeg the parents take more of the blame in this case.may the poor child"s soul rip.

EdiskyHarry:
This festive period, most of these drivers are drunk, all they do is drive recklessly, they know even if they kill someone nothing will happen . They will still have their Prayers license intact.
In a saner clime, they will just test this driver, if any trace of alcohol is found in his system, he will go to prison direct, and will never be allowed to get near any steering in his entire life.
