Some do not understand. There are messengers of God people can speak lightly of in this life and they might go scot free but speak against some and see how God will take action. God does not play with His vessels that have made great deal of sacrifice for His kingdom and are faithful to the assignment He gave to them. God judged Mariam because of what she said against Moses in the secret. God handled it publicly with Miriam becoming leprous. Aaron escaped because he was occupying the High priest office with the anointing resting on him. David's wife Michal was childless because of what she said to David when he danced and touched God's heart.
Lets learn to honour true ministers of God.
We are to pray for ministers. All ministers are answerable to the One who called him and the human shepherd he is under. God will not hold someone responsible for another man's sin. It is the soul that sinned that will die if he/she refuses to repent.

Ochyes:
Jesus said that every idle words shall speak, they shall give account thereof on the day of judgment. Think before speaking or writing.

And God also said that we should not keep quiet in the face of evil.

A lot of clerics in the past in the developed world abused children. Because many of their members were not serving God , but good image...they covered up the crime, and at the end of the day, years later, a lot of souls were lost because of injustice.

We have a lot of Achans in the church. And instead of calling these Achans, in this case, the lads responsible for the abuse, and the teachers responsible for trying intially to cover it up, or doing nothing when Don Davis was being abused to repent of their sins and make restitution, we are far more concerened about how the church looks like to the world.

Well, if we don't stop being concerned about our image and start being concerened about doing what is right, then let us not complain when God does not hear us or answer our prayer.

The Achans must repent. Or else, we would end up with a situation where , several decades down the line, the churches in Nigeria would be like the churches in Europe. Empty.

It is good Deeper Life is doing something about this..and for the record, I believe that their leader is a honest man and will see to it that the right thing is done....but they need to do more. So much more.

So, don't tell me to keep quiet when there is sin in the house, and nothing is being done.

Some years ago, two pastors were caught in adultery. Where are they? Still in their jobs. We called the women who called them out sluts, and workers of the devil sent to shame the church.

Either we start living as the light, or we just give up and say we are really not worshiping God....just Images.

Some just assume he has not contacted the family involved, what if he has contacted the family and promise full investigation will be taken. Not every one shows himself in public chasing clout.

U say u have answered my questions, u are looking for justice for d boy and yet u can't trust d police but u are disappointed at d way d public is calling on pastor kumuyi. So how do u want to obtain justice for d boy when u don't trust d police that is investigating & u are not happy that d public is calling on pastor kumuyi to ensure that justice is done? So what is d media clout that is being chased here? Are u now saying that d people publicly calling on pastor kumuyi don't want justice for d kid? Do these people trust d police to deliver justice?

Oh!!, So it's the Pastor that will do the investigation ... Is the pastor that did the molestation ?, and since he didn't come out publicly to condemn the act means he partook and supported the little boy molestation ?... That's how u leave the real issue and starts chasing unnecessary clout...

Okay...

What seems hard for people to understand is that you can't get people to approve of everything you do. If pastor Kumuyi finally speaks up concerning the issue, know that it is likely because of the overwhelming pressure than of free will.

Kumuyi is a man of wisdom. He has influence, his words are not mere and I don't mean bearing spiritual potency now. If he condemns the act publicly, it will be marked on the sands of time. This is a young boy, who is likely to be haunted by the shame and depression arising from that molestation in future, not to mention the boy that pastor Kumuyi talked about.

Social media never forgets. But some things make it more reminding— speeches from influential people for a start.

And anyone who thinks his silence means that he is proud and happy of the act is simply not being truthful.

Patiently read through all you wrote and didn't see any sense in it.

Its obvious that u just recently learnt d words "chasing clout" and u are fascinated by d words that u don't mind putting them in every comment whether relevant or irrelevant. I asked u earlier, what is d clout that is being chased, u are yet to answer. Let me broaden it for u.

1. What is clout chasing?
2. What has clout chasing got to do with this discussion?
3. Who is chasing clout & where is d clout being chased?

Also, several questions asked where avoided by u. If u had answered them, then won't be any need for your comment above. Let me refresh ur memory.

U say u want justice for d kid. D police is investigating d matter but u categorically said that u don't trust d police to deliver justice. D question is, how do u now want justice to be delivered? Where will d justice come from?

I also asked u this but no answer:

"Are u now saying that d people publicly calling on pastor kumuyi don't want justice for d kid? Do these people trust d police to deliver justice?"

With respect to ur comment above:

4. Pls what is d real issue that u I have left?

U asked:

Enwhen:

So it's the Pastor that will do the investigation ... Is the pastor that did the molestation ?

Which means that Dr. Kumuyi shouldn't investigate d matter simply because he didn't do d molestation. Are u therefore saying that
5. because d police & every other person or persons didn't do d molestation, they shouldn't carry out d investigation?
6. Are u saying that d most competent person to carry out d investigation is d person who actually did d molestation?
