Just search windows update and then go through the options. Note that for Windows 10 you can't turn it off completely, you can only postpone it for a month or so and continue like that. For other windows, you can turn it off completely till when you have the data for the update.

I think the best is to turn on "metered connection" under the Wi-Fi setting. No update will be done when ur connection is metered and only the apps u open will have access to the internet

I stopped non currency pairs because of issues like those. I will not change it but will modify the rules to max lot size allowed. Something like 1.0 or 0.1 lot. Which is equivalent of $1/pip.

Our contest is aimed at encouraging pips making, good risk management and sound psychology.

67% is gambling if made in two weeks but in this case, i guess @mayork2n took advantage of his experience trading indices. Kind of eye opener to good traders in currency as the pattern of movement is same for currency and non currency.

The issue has to do with brokers too and their varying rules for margin requirements for trading non currency pairs. I guess @qpetz broker allowed tiny margin for indices. With the leverage at 1:30max...There is no how you can place 1std lot in a $1000 acct balance trading currency pairs.

You are definitely trading sniper entries. Though I don't like indices because of the variant in pip calculations. Some index assets have quite a low dollar to pip while some have a higher dollar to pip.

The amount of pips you have made means a lot sha. Seems the volatility is quite high?
