Good afternoon house. I want to update the house about my issue earlier in the post above. after chatting fxtm customer care, I was ask to send a mail stating my complaints, which I did. And the levy was cancelled but with a warning that my account will be levied on a monthly basis if my trading account continues to be in active. But on checking fxtm clients agreement section 8.12 this levy only applies when all clients trading account has been in active for six calendar months then a levy of $5 or its equivalent in the account currency will be deducted.
I'm perplexed as to why my account was levied in the first place as I opened my trading account on the 8th of Feb and I haven't been trading for up to 2 month.
I don't know if I'm missing something cause fxtm acted fishy

I can confirm to you that I had similar experience with them. Open a demo, years ago. Even forgot about it as I was hustling for other things. When I got back to trading and felt confident enough to try live, I tried to open an account with them only to be told that I already had one, so I reactivated it and verified it before funding it... within two months, the charged me maintenance fee (probably programmed into their system), I complained and they returned the money. I Intentionally left the account for more than 3 moths without trading... the deduction did not happen again. I think I left it for up to 5 months(just to see what will happen) before I traded with the account again, everything was normal. No issues. I'm saying that, you don't have to be scared. As long as you like their services as a broker, you have nothing to fear. Just make sure you don't keep the account inactive for 6 consecutive months and you will be fine.

I am still waiting for a gold fall.
