There was really never a rivalry between these 2. Snapdragon enjoyed dominance and slept on it. Apple caught Qualcomm sleeping as it came with the 64bit processor first. In a bid to release a 64bit processor as a response to Apple’s own release, Qualcomm produced the ill-fated SD810. Exynos has never been a rival to Snapdragon. Snapdragon always had dominance by almost powering every android devices in existence then. Reason why porting of other oem Roms by xda developers was easy back then without project treble. |
