engrMikemd: Really? You still have people thinking at this level? Corona virus spreads fastest in economic hubs with large transport hubs. On none if these does Kogi figure as a super spreader geography. Kogi ke! You might as well try to extrapolate national data from my small village in Ekiti. My goodness! |

Just that the sad thing is most of you are jobless hypocrites. I know you gonna be the ones to keep 12 feet distance and wash hands like crazy. You only come here and to mislead your gullible lots. Re: COVID-19 Update For January 7 2021 In Nigeria by BreconHills(m): 8:08am On Jan 08, 2021 |
ProphetM0hammad: Several reasons Firstly who who says it is not. Everyone knows that cases in the North are massively under reported. Burials are same day, autopsies are not mandatory. What you should be looking at in the North is not the covid morbidity but increases in year to year morbidity rates. Secondly, population density in Kano is not the same as Lagos,. Thirdly, population daily mobility is not the same. In Lagos people go from Berger to Lekki and from Epe to Mile 2 using heavily congested buses on journeys that last over one hour. There is a difference in the viral load of a bus stuck in traffic with no airflow and one that is whizzing along. Viral loads directly contribute to morbid rates. Added |

funny enough, if ogun state is very close to lagos, y is their coronavirus figures 17 & lagos 807? does it mean that d use different testing device? b 4 u travel 2 lagos, u need 2 pass by ogun. it look as if lagos are using fake testing device. if their hospital is not over crowded with people, & d don't see d need 4 isolation centres, & their testing is low, it show d scam going on in ncdc. as 4 me d 2nd wave of coronavirus is not a big deal in nigeria. but all d same let us stay safe by wearing your face mask when u want 2 travel, practice social distance & get medicine 4 self medication |

They can be playing politics with it but this dreaded virus is real. Unfortunately, I happen to know 2 people that died as a result of the virus this week. We may not be at risk but there are other people that will meet their untimely death of they are infected with this virus. Burstit: |
