Apart from the fact that this will encourage other students to be more focus, it is also a way of sending messages across to other countries that we value education. This is what we should be celebrating as a country and not the other things we celebrate.

It's funny how BBNaija is mentioned more in this thread than the actual reason for its posting. This is a good gesture. "Philanthropists" should continue the scheme. Graduating with good results is not easy, at least the cash gift can go into opening their first business.

Very commendable, this shouldn't be a one off gesture. There should be a fund that does this annually.

All the many money being made in Lagos, nothing to show that measures to it.
