Twitter is a business. You are a consumer. You are not entitled to anything from them. The Nigerian government can also turn off social media any time they want to. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? That's a tricky question. Even when you think of the endsars protest, I don't think it really addressed the underlying issues. Plus a number of people sadly lost their lives.

And speaking of "free speech", stop thinking that it is always a good thing! It can be very dangerous. Take Trump for example, he used his "free speech" to convince his supporters that the elections was rigged, which is obviously a big lie. Now, what are the implications? A lot of his supporters have lost trust in the system. Some of his supporters in Georgia even refused to vote for the Georgia runoffs because of that. And this is just one example. Trump's "free speech" has resulted in people getting death threats to this very day. Is it a good thing?

My point is free speech is great, but it can also be very dangerous when it falls into the wrong hands, so it must be regulated!

BTW, check out the social contract theory. Can you imagine what this world would be like if there were no regulations? I'm pretty sure that people will be committing all sorts of crimes any how.
