Ngige secures release of Anambra indigenes from Suleja prison

Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has secured the release of Olisa and Onyeka Eze from the Suleja Correctional Centre, Niger state.

They regained their freedom on Friday.

The two princes of Ukpo kingdom who hail from Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State were allegedly detained for three months over a business misunderstanding with billionaire businessman, Prince Arthur Eze.

A statement from the minister’s media office said their release from the correctional centre followed the intervention of Sen Ngige.

According to the statement, the released princes later visited the minister’s office to commend him for the intervention.

They were accompanied on the visit by an official from the correctional centre, Mr Abdul Rahman Musa, and friends.

The Ukpo princes hailed Ngige for being “a humanist who stands against injustice and a worthy in-law of the Ukpo community.”

The statement added: “We spent months in prison. We spent our Christmas and New year in detention away from our loved ones, in harsh conditions over false charges. We are ever grateful to Sen. Ngige who took interest in the matter and facilitated our freedom.”

Senator Ngige has done well for intervening. I am sure nobody else would have dared to intervene in order to avoid crossing the path of billionaire Arthur Eze.

The freed young men should not go back to Ukpo for now. They, currently, don't have what it takes to counter Arthur Eze and his son/king-in-waiting. However, one thing is certain, Arthur Eze has sown a 'mustard' seed of discord in Eze n'Ukpo family and though it might be tiny, it will grow into a huge tree.

For every empire that rises, a fall awaits. Nothing created by human lasts forever. God Almighty reigns supreme.

Post your father’s picture, so we can compare it with Eze Arthur’s own.
