I have my NIN; registered like 2 years ago but I won't link any of my sims.

The idiots at the helm of affairs are dishonest. They are threatening lockdown, yet they're forcing people to converge for long periods to get registered.

Is NIN the most pressing issue we're facing currently? Na why I feel say something dey sup na why I no wan register. Call it paranoia, who cares?

Let them do their worst.

people using glo its very easy to link your NIN with SIM just dial *190*YOUR NIN NUMBER#

its just that easy. they will send you a prompt asking for your name and surname and then thats it done. VERY EASY

What u said crossed my mind y'day after I witnessed first hand what folks are going thru. Elderly people, nursing mothers all cramped in one place in a disorderly manner. Many left their jobs just 4d useless exercise. And I said to myself there was a time we didn't use phones and life didn't come to an end

its actually a very good initiative.you know how in the USA they have social security number and in the UK it is National insurance number. it is like a database of all the citizens in the country and so a cuntry must have a database of all its citizens if they want to move up from 3rd world to 1st world because in having all the records of your citizens can you now form effective policies. I know there is the BVN but just as the name states it is for BANKS to identify you. but the NIN is like the NATIONAL one. i commend the exercise however they are being draconian with the implementation but then again knowing how strong headed nigerians are, only draconian methods work, like tell them we will switch off your phone if you dont get it

We are in a pandemic and most guys do not want to go and catch Coronavirus because of National Id card and NIN linking matter.

This evil leaders have gone to Dubai to get the Covid 19 vaccine so do not give a damn if you perish while sweating, pushing, shoving and shouting on each other in the over crowded NIMC offices. When the vaccine wasn't out and they were dropping like flies, did they not shut down every where? Useless and selfish leaders

It's not enough they steal the country to poverty stupor, they keep making stupid policies at the wrong time.
