ASUU strike has come and gone, Nigerian students soon head back to school as each institution rolls out its academic calendar. Although most Federal schools are opting for online lectures due to rising numbers of Covid-19 related cases in the country.

As much as this is a good development by the school authorities, one wonders if this method of learning is feasible within the Nigerian educational system vis-à-vis the disruptive power supply, network failure, students without functional gadgets and lots more. Can online classes be an effective alternative in Nigeria?
