Applying for Driver's License or Nigerian Passport, Tint Permit etc on your own is like walking through a ghost town(oyo is your case). Except you bribe or pay the agreed amount with Agents(officials or 3rd party) for what ordinarily should be an easy process. Processing fee for 32 and 64 page Passport is 15 and 20k respectively but you and I know this is not true, especially when you really need a Passport in Nigeria.

We are quick to chastise our Politicians of corruption while we absorb Public/Civil Servants of it. We even encourage it by patronizing...Imagine Police going about with POS, Road Safety Officials negotiating price to renew 3 years license that is 6500 for 25k for u to get it done. The corruption going on in these places is alarming. One could wait all day at these places if u refuse to press button(u see people forming big man when jumping queue or circumventing rules that should bind all). It takes two to tangle; bribery involves the Giver and the Taker.

It is time we asked for social change. So many things are wrong in Nigeria but the change starts with you and I. Until we start to do what is right, we might just be oscillating in underdevelopment.

I long for a Nigeria where u can get things done without delay or glitches, or rub-my-back mentality. It does not take rocket science for things to work in Nigeria but we are too GREEDY and SELF CENTRED.

God bless Nigeria

can't be said any better. My experience at MMA airport 3 years ago made me wow at the level of corruption in these public institutions
