I was in apapa port recently and I was surprised at how many cars they have in that place! The Cotonou you mention is as risky as death itself especially if you want to drive it down without paying custom duties. You go die oo! Those custom people will shot at you without thinking twice and they will chase you asphalt style until you crash the car into a tree.
