A 44-year-old man identified as Gambo Muhammed has expressed his displeasure since he got out of prison 12 years after he was convicted for murdering a guy at a naming ceremony.

According to him during an interview with BBC pidgin, he was initially sentenced to death for stabbing a guy, but after spending 12 years in prison and they noticed his changed way of life, his sentence was however converted to life imprisonment.

But others and himself were however pardoned by the government due to the coronavirus pandemic to decongest the prison.

However, since he got out of jail, Gambo said life has been extremely difficult for him. On his return to his people, he discovered that his father had given up the ghost.

He has no shelter, as his siblings reportedly sold their father's house after his father's demise. No job, even to get food to eat becomes a thing of luxury.


So he said he would prefer going back to prison because while in prison, he is guaranteed to get a free meal, water, and shelter. He gets to read his Quran with peace of mind and a platform to learn new skills that will impact his life positively is also provided.

offcourse they will. Imagine someone like hushpuppi the trauma he's going through, the pains of being kept in a box 247, all the so called luxury life taken away from him with a finger snap. I have alot of criminals on my instagram and snapchat, i just laugh whenever i see them posting balling videos, posting their kids with gucci shirts I really pitty the kids co they are not gonna see their dad for a very long time when the law finally catches up with him
