In this case, let the manager and staff deny their involvement first. How many room have such camera Even if it is just one, it is still connected to monitor either by wire or remotely. This is everywhere in South Korea! You van Google it. Even inside toilets in the hotel suites when you sit to ease yourself cameras are recording. In fact, some cameras would record your privates fromminside the WC, and they are so small that it is almost impossible to track them. Room's in many South Korean hotels have multiple cameras on desks, soap bottles, and other unimaginable places. It takes experts with high tech equipment to locate all the camera's in each room. South Korean women have complained and protested yet the issue hasn't been fixed, at least the last time I checked. Now Nigerians want to copy the same evil. Terrible! The easiest way to fight this is to hold the hotel owners and managers responsible. That way it would be difficult to perpetrate such act, and maybe a professional should scan each room before they are allocated to a new client. |

A few years ago I once lodged at Ibeto hotel Abuja; a few days after returning home I noticed a strange e-mail referring me to a time range of a video clip; fortunately the clip was already corrupt when I tried to access it. It later occurred to me that it may have been a failed attempt at blackmailing me with my own nude pictures taken while undressing it was even more fortunate that there was no sex as I was staying alone without my wife. People should be very careful; one way of locating a hidden camera is to draw the curtains, switch off all the lights and allow the room to fall into complete darkness; then using your phone camera and scan the room. If there is a hidden camera you will notice a red spotlight from its infrared source. 3 Likes |

Some are sent by business partners or contenders, some do it if they suspect you are with a girlfriend. Let's wait for the hotel to give their version. Switch off all the lights in the room, put on your phone camera or torch, move it round the room. Your light will clash with the camera light if inside the room. |

Now to the reply..... That camera or CCTV is installed doesn't mean that the contents will be reviewed or released. Certainly not. But in the event something bad happens, events in d room that took place withing the last 24 hrs will be reviewed and only in dat particular room, since checks are carried out every 24 hrs in hotels. So if the culprits and victims were nude within day period, that would be of no consequence, since they want to find out d details of what actually happened. Remember d pH serial killer? Of CCTV was installed in d room he murdered the first girl , he would have been caught, before he killed d subsequent victims in the other hotel rooms.
