Sorry to say but u no too get sense. Installing camera in a private space is a crime. The hallways and the doors to the hotel can capture images of people going in with time stamp. You can stop crime that way. If you suspect any lounger, you can get a warrant to spy on that person.

The serial killer used careless hotels for his activities. If 2 people check into an hotel then you see one going out, you stop him immediately! If a visitor comes to a room and you see either the visitor only or customer moving out, you stop to check. CCTV can be on corridors and reception. You don't have any right feeding on people's nudes and privacy.
I went to one town one day, the way into the rooms is close to the gate while reception is at the middle of the building. We passed upstairs straight without their knowledge and so didn't bother paying for another room.
We slept and left the second morning. That's carelessness! A CCTV at the corridor could have also reveal our identities if we were criminals.

I never said d CCTV would be reviewed. Read again. I meant room service cleans d room or d guests check out, during which any bad incident will be noticed
