BETHEL CHRISTIAN WRITING CHALLENGE (NIGERIA)
(Facilitated by the Bethel Literary Initiative)

Submissions are hereby invited for the first BETHEL CHRISTIAN WRITING CHALLENGE.

1st Prize: N50,000
2nd Prize: N25,000
3rd Prize: N25,000

An encouragement prize of N10,000 will also be given for each additional submission selected for publication in THE BETHEL DIGEST, an online publication of the BETHEL LITERARY INITIATIVE (BETHLIN).

Submissions should be approximately 250 words for poetry, 500 words for nonfiction, and 1,000 words for short stories.

FREE registration for the challenge is by application to the BETHEL CHRISTIAN WRITERS FELLOWSHIP on Facebook. The detailed submission guidelines are available on the group. Search for the group on Facebook or use the link provided below. In your application to join the Facebook group, you would be required to provide a one-sentence Christian testimony and a one-sentence description of what Christian writing is.
Priority registration for the contest closes on February 28. Priority acceptance of submissions closes on March 31. The challenge winners will be announced on the BETHEL CHRISTIAN WRITERS FELLOWSHIP Facebook group on April 30.

Early registration is encouraged as writing tips, instruction, and guidance and Christian fellowship will be provided on the Facebook group. In the event of a tie, active participation and contribution in the fellowship will be significant.
