How were you able to combine it with the rigor of pharmacy school considering that studying pharmacy is time consuming? I always have this mindset of doing the right thing at the right time. Basically, I am not a fan of piling up notes, so most of the time, I read as we are being taught. Also, during tests and exams, I go into hibernation mode. I am not also a fan of late night reading, so I use my weekend very judiciously. I stay indoor reading from morning till night, and the only break I get is probably to cook and also go for prayer. This was my strategy when l was undergraduate . 2 Likes |

Excellent Still our science courses are focussed on too much book reading and no practical output Maybe that is why we are nowhere to be found in producing Covid19 vaccines Reading books = uploading and then downloading to get best grades does not move a nation forward We import most of our drugs from India and they are even in Nigeria manufacturing drugs for us |

Congrats to her. You can't make first class in the university I graduated from after having low grades in 100 and 200 levels. Well it all depends on her definition of "low grades" |

She's gifted with extraordinary brain. Her reading pattern is mostly same with others who would still come to exam hall and turn giraffes. God bless ur brain more. |

Exmilitant: Some of you are so into yourselves that you think anyone who does religion needs to be "exposed". Those ones who have been " exposed" tell me one thing they have contributed to humanity? I personally hate when people think religion limits or stunts ones ability to learn. In fact, religion refocuses your mind on important things not the rubbish you and I will choose to engage in. The algebra,Biology, chemistry, sociology and astrology you guys boast about today were works by committed religious folks. Google Khwarizmi, Ibn Haytham, even George Mendel is a monk. So,carry your yeye exposure talk go beer joint. It's not meant for people who know what true knowledge is. 1 Like |

Friend22:Are you done wailing? You know what? You are gonna fail woefully in trying to make a case for religion, worse islam.... And less i forget, my 'exposure' has made me a liberal and very accomodating... |

Seyzcham91:I was discussing this with someone many years back in uni, he said it's because of their upbringing. Many of them grew up attending ilekewu where their Arabic and Quran teachers go dey whipe them koboko just for making a tiny mistake. That's what developed their brains over time. And when they attended ilekewu as kids, it was all about cramming Arabic and Quran. That's why if you notice it's always in mathematics and calculation courses they're always very good at. Although they are extremely good at theory too. All those hijab girls and alfas wey dey wear white cap and their trousers no dey reach ground ehn, fear them. In a university or polytechnic, 70% of the scholars and class toppers in all the departments are these people. Cc: porthouse7 1 Like 1 Share |
