Pelican Valley signs N36.5m electrification project for own estates


Ogun State Most Enterprising Real Estate Company, Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd, has signed a N36.5 million electrification contract with Lucky David Nigeria Ltd, a Nigerian based electrical engineering company.

The contract is to provide and instal three transformers in its three housing estates in Ogun State as well as connect them to the national grid immediately.

Youthful President/CEO of Pelican Valley Estate, Babatunde Adeyemo, on the sideline of the signing ceremony which was held at its head office on Nawar-Ud-Deen Street, Oke Yeke Area of the Ogun state capital, expressed delight at what he described as a long dream realised.

He disclosed that the contract, which must be completed within the next two months, will not only add value to the different estates, but also further increase the returns on investments of customers, which had already increased by almost 100% within 6 months.

The CEO further disclosed that "Pelicanvalley is less than five minutes drive from the Abeokuta train station.

"Also, our new Pelican-Brief Estate is less than sixteen minutes drive from the same train station.

"The Train is programmed to run 160 kilometer per hour, while Ebutemeta, Agege, Apapa, Ijora to Abeokuta through the trail is less than 75/85 / 90 kilometers respectively".

He noted that Pelicanvalley was 500k per plot in
2014 but today, a plot is #8m. Pelicanbrief was 785k per plot when it was launched five months ago but today, its #1m. The time to act is now.

Mr. Adeyemo urged prospective customers.
He further hinted all prospective and potential customers to quickly key into the investments as price upgrade of the properties is eminent and will be effective in two weeks time.

Chairman, Lucky David Nigeria Ltd, Festus Chinnedu Nwanchor, whose company is handling the project described Pelican Valley Estate as a reliable housing estate that continues to add value to customers' investments.

Speaking during the ceremony, Nwanchor expressed delight at successes so far recorded by Pelican within the few years of its existence.

‘’With what I have seen at their estates and customers’ patronage, this is a company that really means business. I believe in the future and enterprising nature of Pelican as a company, hence we did not hesitate to go into the electrification project contract.’’

‘’A company like this should be encouraged, as it assists the government both at the federal and state level to meet the housing needs of Nigerians and others.

‘’On the completion of the electrification projects, the estates will be connected to the national grid immediately, thereby meeting the needs of existing and prospective landlords within the three estates.’’

Also at the event was the estates corporate ambassador and a popular nollywood actor, Mr. James Olasehinde, popularly known as pa. James.

He described the real Estate company as one of the most reliable he had ever came across in the recent time.

Meanwhile, Adeyemo has assured that Pelican Valley Estate as a company, would continue to be socially responsible.

In this regard, he hinted that it is the desire of the company to provide solar energy lights for its host communities as well as mount CCTV cameras along the estate as well as within the estate.
