ACN should buy Fashola a thank you card. He single handedly helped ACN candidates win. Now that they have won all these seats, they will hopefully deliver for their electorate.

same thing i heard happened in Edo state where people were just eager to vote pdp out after seeing the developmental stride oshiomhole brought to edo state.Daisy was highly disappointed losing to an unpopular ACN candidate.Anenih must be really sad by now.abeg where is beaf  ? Abi soldiers don arrest am with pump action ?

Remember that the outcome of this house of assembly election wl in no way determines the result of the presidential election coz people wl be voting for GEJ and nt party. South east and South south are no area for other parties and its going to be a landslide victory for GEJ in this zones and in as much as Southerners doesn't like PDP government, that wld nt stop them from voting for their man GEJ and so all u guys making noise and celebrating that GEJ wl loose frm the outcome of this assemble election wl cry last.

most of you people just come up with some funny analysis most times. Most of the votes are coming from the common nigeria most of whom were only told to either thumbprint for broom, umbrella, corn or pen, they dont see jonathan, ribadu, shekarau or buhari.so how do you now convince those in the rural area with little formal knowledge to thumbprint for umbrella when the same people thumbprinted for broom few days back ?

You just brought it out of my mind. As a matter of fact, there is nothing strange about the results coming in so far. It largely reflects THISDAY POLLS prediction and is further evidence that the poll is credible and thus GEJ would win.For example, THISDAY POLLS gave Benue to ACN for national assembly and governorship polls and Presidential to PDP. Same thing with Lagos. So for me, this is good news for GEJ because he would even surpass Thisday prediction as I believe that more people would now vote for him for allowing a free and fair elections at yesterday polls.BTW, I hope the Buhari supporters celebrating realise that CPC is only winning where the are strongly projected to win. They are unable to make any inroads outside of thier base, rather they lost Borno to PDP.

@digriz,
you are sure thinking from someother part of ur body but not your brians. this same GEJ has sacked two igbo pdp chairmen in his bid to make sure the igbos are not in charge of the party while the election lasts and you still believe in landslide victory abi?
jonathan is a stumbling block for the igbo presidency come 2015 and ur little brian decieves u with the word, landslidevictory abi?
the initial agreement in pdp was 8 yr obasanjo - yorubas, 8 years northerners and then 8 yrs easterners(igbos) but the obstruction master(obasanjo) thinks he is a god to change anything at will to suit his criminalities.
again, the pdp zoned igbo chairman is no where to be found among us the igbos and you don't ever think of that in ur landslide victory abi?
even if your jonathan wins, it will never be business as usual as he will encounter many new and strange faces of oposition unlike the pdp gangstars that we used to have in the house.
the stage is going to be a diufficult one i promise u.

Jonathan's choices are limited. He came to power because of the vigilance of people and their insistence on democracy
You also forgot that Jonathan did not want to remove Iwu, it was pressure from the US that forced his hand

JONATHAN:
You see, the issue of the – the electoral body – in fact, I even told the audience I addressed this morning, the issue is whether the present electoral body can conduct free and fair election or not. And I told them that, yes, they can, because I have done it with the same people.

How well has he done on the battle against corruption? And you may want to read this
The next thing that Nigerians worry about is issues of corruption. You know we’ve been accused of as people who are in a privileged position in government amassing wealth at the expense of society. So they expect us to take these two (electricity and corruption) issues seriously.

Panic Ke? So which party would be the change? Is it the votes that Cpc would get in only some parts of the North? You mean you have not realised that by the results released so far, its most probably the pdp that would win the presidential elections. BTW, talking of panic, you need to read the earlier part of this thread to see that it is buhari fans that are in panic mode as they immediately started 'wishing' that acn and cpc would merge since it has become obvious to them that cpc remains a party only in NE and NW.

Several sources, including a police officer, have confirmed to SaharaReporters that thugs hired by Governor Peter Obi of Anambra and led by one Ejike Imoka intimidated voters in Ward 3 in the governor’s hometown of Agulu, making it impossible for supporters of the ACN to cast their votes in today’s elections.

Two of the sources said Mr. Imoka led a group of thugs who gave a thorough beating to Bosah Azodo, the representative of the ACN. A police source said Mr. Imoka and the hoodlums under his command destroyed a car belonging to Mr. Azodo and stole the money with which the ACN representative was to pay his party’s polling agents.

Daisy Danjuma lost to an unpopular ACN candidate?, FYI Uzamere the ACN candidate is a seating senator who defected to ACN, and ACN is the ruling party in Edo state , and if you really understand the psych of the average voter, it was not an upset, Uzamere was expected to win, lets post without sentiments please

Unpopular does not necessarily mean Unknown, it may be mean UN-liked. PDP is an Unpopular Party. Fact!

ACN won in most of the units in Bonny LGA, Rivers State. don't have the figures yet, I didn't stay for the count.

There was fighting in ward 3 and 4 in Okirika LGA, Dr Abiye Sekibo's ward. PDP boys wanted hijack ballot box, move was resisted by voters. Sekibo is Amaechi's arch enemy.

For the most party, elections were (free and fair) but there were a lot of Vote buying, people were being paid to stay home especially in Etche, Ikwerre, LGA's of Rivers State.

Voters were being forced to vote for ruling party in Elele ( Ikwerre LGA). it almost came to blows.

Good things happen when men of proven integrity are in charge as evidenced by JEGA's INEC. The time has come to elect a man of proven integrity. VOTE BUHARI/BAKARE. VOTE CPC. The PEN is mightier than a leaking Umbrera.

From Kwara Central, Ilorin

There were unconfirmed reports yesterday that the ACN wins the kwara Central senatorial district, however another unconfirmed news this morning says PDP wins all the three senatorial districts. I suspect PDP has rigged their way. Anyway, lets wait till the official result is announced. But I witnessed some voting counts in which people voted ACN most.

Try to be objective,if pdp loses it is free and fair,if acn loses it becomes rigging haba. Atleast about 60% of the report so far confirms that the election is fair
