It appears the battle is really between the PDP and the ACN. All the noise about CPC starts and ends in a few states in the north

Sit, relax and munch on your pop corn next week saturday and see the CPC TSUNAMI sweep across the whole country
Dont forget CPC had no candidates for positions in most of the states in the south east, south south, and south west.

Right now it has been confirmed that OBJ is hiding under his bed, Gej took overdoze sleeping tablets to sleep for the whole week to wake next week friday night, Dimeji bankole pissed on his body immediately he got the result while iyabo obasanja wept till day break.

WATCH OUT FOR CPC! WATCH OUT FOR BUHARI!! WATCH OUT FOR A TRANFORMATION IN OUR GREAT COUNTRY NIGERIA!!!
Re: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by ojofree: 10:43am On Apr 10, 2011
Senator Iyabor Obasanjo Bello of the PDP lost to ACN candidate in her backyard, The PDP is gradually loosing their grip in the state, This is a political Tsunami to OBJ and the PDP,

I am surprised you expected PDP to do well in Ogun state. FYI there are 2 opposing factions of PDP in that state and so there was a lot of anti-party activities

I am even suprised ACN won in Alimosho. Alimosho and Ikorod with Shomolou are the 3 most neglected regions of Lagos by ACN and BRF.
All them same, plenty people are voting PDP there, just to show their greviances to BRF. Though im more impressed with Ogun people. Seems like Ogun is ready for change! grin
Hey, where my Beafy gala. GEJ will fire you today!

Nairalanders should realize that publishing projected results is not the same as the final results, all these diaspora Nigerians populating this forum should realize that they are inciting negative sentiments, YOU DON'T LIVE HERE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SENTIMENTS OF THE PEOPLE ARE, Please let peace reign, i am surprised reading someone who lives in the UK posting speculative results , it is irresponsible
Statement of fact! there's no point getting info from other sites online and posting here. we need real results from the field please! we all have access to those sites too.

No one expected CPC to perform like this in NASS election. The general believe was that, CPC is only strong presidentially.Don't 4get that many people that voted PDP in d north will vote CPC!

when people talk on this forum, they give the impression that if PDP wins it is by rigging but if ACN wins they do so fairly. please be aware that Lagosians are very politically sensitive and so if ACN wins in Alimoso, Ikorodu, Shomolu and even in Lekki/Epe axis, then you must think really hard that it might not have been fair, There is a lot of apathy towards BRF and ACN here, i live in Alimoso and only registered to vote because i wanted to make sure i contribute towards ACN losing, BRF is a hypocrite and is so popular because he has a very intelligent PR team around him

All these results online are speculations and rumours. Until Jega or the resident INEC official declares the results on NTA all other duely speculated results especially from Sahara reporters should be considered as extremely fictious and baseless. How can somebody in the UK or Dubai claim to know the result in Ifako-Ijaiye based on one polling booth result and declare the person the winner covering the other 22 polling booths? We should stop all these rumours and heighten people's tensions. Let INEC Officially declare the winners and stop all these silly permutations.

@muami
you must be having real heartbreaks at these results.
All your posts have been about denying the possibility of PDP losing massively.
Well there you have it, the people have spoken and loudly too.
Soon PDP will be in the class of Accord party and NCP, well, just wondering if they'll make good opposition.
to PDP, Goodbye buggers, May you not rest in peace!

I agree with you. If the voting pattern is replicated next week, then the presidential elections would be between GEJ and Ribadu while Buhari would come a distant third with significant votes in only a few states in the north just like he did in 2003 and 2007.
The other obvious thing is that the merger talk will be consigned to the bin reason being that Ribadu with ACN is the pole position and I don't see them accepting a second position while Buhari on the other hand will never be anyone's deputy at least according yo him
