Nice one! South West farmers should do the same. If they can pay compensation for cows, the farmers should get for their land too 10 Likes 1 Share |

Farmers all over the country should do the same. Investors in agriculture have suffered innumerable losses to herdsmen and their animals. In the South East, I don’t even think N9b can compensate the losses suffered if an extensive data is collected. Federal government should be happy that most times, farmers do not complain openly. Most farmers die in silence when they lose all their investment due to the carnage inflicted by Fulani herdsmen. Most are not insured. I’m not sure if any one of them is insured. Farmers are powerless when they suffer losses, they spend more being extorted when they complain at the police stations as nothing gets done. Even if the culprit is arrested which is often very difficult considering the risks due to Fulani’s behaviours or the dangers of being attacked by their animals. The culprits are not prosecuted as their Serikis are there to get them out as soon they came in. I know farmers who have lost their investment on maize and rice farms to herdsmen. Ask people like Olu Falae whose farm have been damaged over the years, his worker was murdered and he has been kidnapped then you’ll begin to understand the scale of the menace which Fulani herdsmen have caused. Federal government should be blamed as it has been an active corroborator to the problem. It came up with the RUGA threat and has encourage Fulanis backed by police and Army to cause more problems. Today farmers are not the only ones suffering as Fulanis have gone into kidnappings as a business. Schools are now raided and vulnerable children kidnapped for ransom with miyetti allah playing an active role as the negotiator. It’s unimaginable how a group of men would kidnap hundreds of children and disappear without trace till ransom has been paid. Farmers all over the country should emulate what their south east counterparts are doing. It’s time federal government compensated farmers like Olu Falae and a host of other people. 15 Likes |

aleeyus:Where did you see South East in that write up. We are talking about d old Eastern Region in line with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu establishment of d ESN. This will only show d FG that d people on ground are in sync with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his ESN only if they will get d message. Any failure of addressing dia demand will naturally justify their allegiance towards ESN and their won't be any backlash. 9 Eastern States are d same as d 9 States that make up Biafra, dat name u ppl so much despise. ESN is simply here to stay 3 Likes |

BlackPantherxXx:This low IQ nearthandal ape learn to read and understand before making a fool of yourself. The farmers were calling for fair compensation for damages incurred on their lands during all the farmer-herdsmen clashes that have occurred in the old Eastern region OVER A PERIOD OF YEARS, ESN was just birthed two months ago to curb the exact crisis which they've been doing creditably well so far. At least we are not in a embarrassingly hopeless situation like your people who are been killed, dismembered, raped, annexed and flogged almost every calendar week by Bororo herdsmen 3 Likes |

it's a good idea, our lands have been destroyed by these herdsmen. during raining season they graze, during dry season they burn our bushes. their cows has made our soil tough, they made the soil strong and it now looks as if bulldozers do pass through our land. 2 Likes |
