You don't need to be stupid. In your statement that I quoted, you said he hasn't publicly spoken out and I referred you to his Instagram page to let you know he had indeed done that. Except you meant that he didn't go to the protest ground which you didn't state expressly and many other celebrities didn't go to the protest ground either. As for the shirt displayed at the headies, it's a worldwide phenomenon. Celebrities in other countries do it especially if the organisers allow it on their platform. Just recently black lives matter was accommodated in the MTV awards.

There is much that was achieved... don't insult the struggle just because the power that be killed us. It is a start. you're not the government. You can't for certain say if we made an impact or not.

But there are indications everywhere that the government was shaken. You can tell if you look very closely, or actively protested.

Forget the gra gra you see on the news, it's called "fighting back".

It would take a lot more to reform the police, but for now our dreadlocked and dyed-hair friends are free to gallevant about w/out fear of SARS or unreasonable profiling.
