Smh

CBN Act (2007) declaring it as the issuer of legal tender in Nigeria.

Emeifile or what is your name, the CBN act declared the cbn as the issuer of legal tenders but cryptocurrencies are not legal tenders. The US has classified these as property in their country. Why can't u do same.

Classify them as property and tax the gains if of course you are ready to do tax refunds on losses.

The cbn will cancel anything they can't comprehend

What best interest? You didn’t think, you didn’t study the world trend. You just jumped up and banned what you have no single control over.

Central banks of the world are keying into this. Some weeks ago, I brokered on a deal for the central bank of Singapore on bitcoins acquisition. Kenya's central bank is going crypto. Stupid Emefiele thinks he can ban crypto currencies. He's been unable to bring sanity to banking sector with their arbitrary charges. Bitcoins is his problem. Foolish man

I am still trying to understand how he became governor of the cbn and why he is still retained except to do the bidding of some uneducated bigots who have no business in growing the naira or adding value to it.

A governor whose only purpose is to stabilize the naira yet the devaluation of the naira is increasing on a daily basis.....how is it in the interest of Nigerians?

The federal government serves United States interests.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has targeted cryptocurrency use in Nigeria, because the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has complained that 200 to 300 million dollars is transferred per week from the United States to Nigeria using cryptocurrency.

I later realized that as well. The decision will favour the newbie that are just investing without knowing fully the kind of business they are investing into. Imagine 5 million Nigerian newbies investing N15B buying BTC at the bull price of $50k, what would happen to those newbies and Nigeria's economy if btc falls back to $10k?

Hahahahaha! The ban is as effective as nothing!

My people if that ban is restricting you from trading bitcoin and co, you have no reason to be in the cryptocurrency market in the first place because you are too dull!

Ok, I want to convert some bitcoins to naira. How do do it?

A Delta Igbo is not a true Igbo. We are no longer in the era of regional government.
Same way the Benue, Plateau and Kwara are not what they claim to be as we've been told to believe for political mischief makers.

Cryptocurrency transactions can't be banned...cos it is an open source and also decentralized....if you can't improvise on the platform you have your coins funds then just use P2P and have your buyer pay into your bank account with other legal tender value higher than Naira.....what trading platform are you? Good Morning

Nowadays you can bypass if you are using Binance.

Anyways I'm open to all crypto deals and consumables locomotives sales.

Now use the other half ot your brain to ask what will happen to those newbies if btc rises to $100k?
If there can be a fall there can also be a rise. Reason fully.
