True it's a gamble. Now why hasn't the fed govt banned babijebu and betnaija and the likes if truly they have our interests at heart?

The difference is there now and the government didn't fail to point it out. Lotteries and bettings are being regulated by the government but crypto currency trading is unregulated. It opens the country's economy and security to all sorts of things, you have been told.

Do you know wha regulations really mean? The are simply taxing these betting companies heavily. Basically its still the same gamble. So I have 1M and stake with both the betting sites and crypto. What effect does crypto have on the economy that betting won't if I win both stakes? All that regulation story is simply because they can't make money from crypto. Does the regulation protect investors in betting companies from losing their money?

I later realized that as well. The decision will favour the newbie that are just investing without knowing fully the kind of business they are investing into. Imagine 5 million Nigerian newbies investing N15B buying BTC at the bull price of $50k, what would happen to those newbies and Nigeria's economy if btc falls back to $10k?
