How has it helped the society?... please reason on those lines not social media lines.
How exactly is making a money cake an issue to get agitated about?

Ayam not understanding..

The people that are celebrating, are they not going to make and cut a cake for their celebration? shocked

The point is, someone was paid for that decoration, so jobs are not being killed, you can say bakers are losing their jobs to decorators, not that jobs are being killed, period!

It is their choice, you can't tell government to force people on what to do with their celebrations. I have not read, seen or heard it done anywhere else. wink wink wink

Even the weddings and birthdays are all irrelevant to our tradition as a country. They only rienforce how wasteful and vain we are.

Ermmm, I don't know of anyone that considers money cake as an alternative to actual cake.

You have overanalyzed this issue.Calm down!

Peterobi90:
Job can be defined as employment, work or occupation, it is a person's role in society. More specifically, a job is an activity, often regular and often performed.

Jobs are not created from the blues, they are created via our daily specific activities.

They are coined from our daily habits alongside country policies..

The main purpose of this thread is the new habit of money cakes in place of actual cakes.. some might call it bluff, but its becoming a trend and gradually becoming a norm.

The activities that involve cakes are diminishing daily..

Weddings are on an alltime low, Birthdays are barely celebrated these days. How then do we want the bakers to feed when we deliberately kill jobs with trendy habits.

Of what use is a money cake to the society, what economic gain has it added to the economy?.. zero/zilch, but has taken food out the mouth of millions from that created through cake-baking.

Please let's be cautious, our money cake trendy habit kill jobs, our economy is at the brink on employment.. we cant keep harming ourselves. Coming from our so-called celebrities goes to show most dont think beyond their noses.

Note: I am not a Baker, just a concerned citizen.

Our current celebrities are a disgrace to humanity especially the Nigerian ones, one the other day made a post boasting that his abi her airtime balance was equivalent to a Managers annual salary.

In a decent functional society where people are sane would such celebrity even exist.?

These guys just prey on peoples ignorance and frustrations and mislead our youths into thinking that they can become millionaires overnight, thereby forcing these youngs ones into bad vices that ultimately destroy them.

Have the mental strength to ignore these bad influences, they dont even care about you, they just use your attention to better their fortunes, a word is enough for the wise.

The money cake is just cardboard and ribbon, with already manufactured currency..

But the actual cake involves
Flour from farmers
Sugar
Designers
Eggs from poultry farmers
Word from carpenters
Logistics
Kitchen equipments and utensils from traders
Intelligence from education etc....

We are too populated to be killing jobs.

una reach 1/4 of india? The world is changing....and thats the new trend.....but not everyone will be interested in this money cake....it is matter of choice......

For your information, baking industry is so huge that, one way or the other we still gonna need their services......

Oga, it's all about prefrence. We live in a world of diversity. Not everyone must bake a cake to celebrate.
Let us allow everyone to do as he or she pleases.
Baking cakes isn't the only job out there
