We as Nigerians deserve whatever we get from these useless Politicians....This isnt Desmond Elliot's first term, what did he do to deserve a second term. We should only pity ourselves when a first term politician fails us, but someone fails us first term, he come still win second term and u expect him to do better?...u dey do continuity for person wey no perform before and u expect a different result?

Na we d people dey fail ourselves. what did Desmond do in his first term to deserve a second term. Dont be surprised Desmond will win another term in that constituency or possibly use this kind of bridge to campaign for HouseofReps and he willl win in a free n fair contest...the problem is not Desmond, na we voters be d problem, we no rate ourselves at all.

He was on clubhouse today to clarify. A bridge is not supposed to be there as its a canal. Someone died crossing it and he decided to help the community to rebuild the makeshift bridge there. The community was going to build it anyway and he dropped 100k. You guys should grow up. He said he also followed up with government agencies they said they cant do anything about it. Grow up

I wonder what it will cost politicians in Nigeria to do things right that will be in the best interest of the masses. Even if he used he personal money to construct that bridge, is that the best he can give to his constituents? These politicians should have the fear of God even if they don't fear man.

I see he has genuine intention to help mitigate the risk the canal presents. I feel he could have just done an anonymous donation and not let his name dragged over a trivial project. Politics is a dirty game, not everything needs your credit.
he did other stuff which the media didn't report. He cant control what is they report. The toilet was built by Austrian government, he only facilitated them building 3 in his domain. The social media freaks turned it to something else.
