Fresh crisis appears to be brewing in the Ibarapaland area of Oyo State, following the return of Fulani herdsmen to the area and the alleged destruction of farms in the area. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/fresh-crisis-brews-in-igangan-as-herdsmen-resume-farm-destruction/%3famp=1

It is obvious that Buhari doesn’t care about the havoc caused by these ‘herders’ (there may even be a grand scheme who knows maybe a form of guerilla war fare who knows ) even more sad is that Makinde seems to have been bought over by the Fulanis. Either ways, Yoruba ronu. No one has the monopoly of violence. Defend yourselves. Farmers should unite, arm themselves too and be ready to defend each other. IF NEED BE, attack first! Going to report to the police often times have yielded no results. Even they too fear their Fulani pay masters. Use dem as manure for the farmlands they seek to destroy. Na who Dey alive fit farm o! Yoruba ronu o. 96 Likes 10 Shares |

They will keep reporting to the Police and govt, the govt and police will keep saying "they are investigating the reports" but won't do anything. When the people react because of the pain they have been going through, the govt will come out to condemn the people's reaction. Govt's failures are the reasons the people take laws into their hands 100% of the time. Like I will always say, dont wait until somebody kills u, learn to protect yourself, it is not unconstitutional to protect yourself. 116 Likes 5 Shares |

I see no usefulness in reporting to the police, simply justify their act straight away even if it is Killing them 21 Likes 1 Share |

Federal government needs to come to the states support on this issue of farmland. Buhari walk into ibarapa land area and send out your kins. Can a farmer from igangan even walk into your village anyhow like this. Even with all the destructions they do, your government still pays them in billions yet the farmers your brothers destroy their farmland you don't even share anything with them. Shey o da a be? 4 Likes |

The farmers should have use the same rods used to beat the farmer on the herders before reporting to the police. These herders will not stop until the farmers applied the rule of tit for tat Eye for Eye. You destroy my farmland and I destroy your herds of cows. 5 Likes |

Farmers should be allowed to arm themselves. That's the only viable solution. There needs to be a balance for peace to reign. As it is, the crisis is one sided and that's why one side seems to be adamant 1 Like |

No need of reporting those fulani terrorists to any police because they will not do anything about it, you people need to be armed with gun or confirmed juju for your safety whenever you are going to farm. Blood for blood is what we need to end the madness of these fulani people 11 Likes |

Igboho to the rescue again. Any cows or sheep caught up in the act of crop destruction should be given to the victims as instant compensation. Any Fulani herders caught should be burnt to serve as deterrent to others on same mission. We haff suffer enof... 1 Like |

All livestock in Nigeria should be tagged, registered and require a documentation before moving them from place to place. I hope there'll be concerted efforts towards solving this issue between herders and farmers. 1 Like 1 Share |
